The medication is used to treat certain types of skin growths, such as warts and moles. Precancerous growths (actinic keratoses), a specific type of skin cancer (superficial basal cell carcinoma), and warts on the outside of the genitals/anus are all examples of this condition. Treating these conditions can help to reduce the number of complications that arise as a result of them.
