Atorlip 10 Tablet is an atorvastatin-containing medication. High triglyceride and cholesterol levels in the blood are treated with it. This drug lowers the risk of heart disease and stroke by preventing the body’s synthesis of harmful fats (a condition that causes reduced oxygen supply to the brain).

The effect of this medication is noticed in about one to two hours of intake. 

WAY OF ADMINISTRATION:

Administer Atorlip 10 Tablet by mouth with food. It is taken before a meal as well. The dosing instructions are explained to the patient. It is in addition to the side effects of the drug.   2. Adverse side effects of combining Atorlip 10 Tablet with other medicines exist. Book an appointment with the doctor if these side effects occur.
  3. When using atorvastatin, the risk for myopathy (muscle soreness, tenderness, or weakness) and rhabdomyolysis (muscle breakdown) increases. Senior citizens, people with thyroid issues, and people who have kidney disease are at higher risk. If you begin to have sudden, unexplained muscle pain, weakness or discomfort, call your doctor immediately.
  4. While taking atorvastatin, your liver test results may be excessively high, and you could have liver issues. While you’re taking this medication, your doctor will keep an eye on this.
  5. When taking atorvastatin, stay away from consuming a lot of grapefruit juice. An accumulation of atorvastatin in the blood brought on by consuming grapefruit juice increases the risk of muscular deterioration. Consult your doctor about the recommended daily intake of grapefruit juice.
