Flagyl ER 500 tablet are a prescription medicine used for the treatment of any vaginal, skin, joint, liver, stomach, and respiratory tract bacterial infection. Metronidazole kills the bacteria and prevents its growth and cell damage. This antibiotic will not work for any viral infections.
WAY OF ADMINISTRATION:
Flagyl ER 500 Tablet are administered by mouth which, means it is an oral formulation. Administer it with food or milk to avoid stomach irritation. Do not cut, crack, bite or triturate the tablet.

Flagyl ER 500 tablet interacts with products that contain alcohol like cough syrup and aftershave. This also interacts with products containing propylene glycol, lopinavir solution, and lithium.
Active ingredients present that metronidazole interacts with disulfiram warfarin and other oral anticoagulants.
