Flavoxate Hydrochloride Tablet is used to prevent muscle spasms of the urinary tract. Flavoxate acts as a smooth-muscle relaxant; it reduces the leaking of urine, feeling of urinating, and bladder pain. This medication is not useful for all urinary tract problems. This is a prescription medicine.

WAY OF ADMINISTRATION:
Flavoxate Hydrochloride Tablet has to be administered by mouth with or without food. Do not cut, bite or triturate the table. Take a full glass of water with each dose to avoid stomach upset.
SIDE EFFECTS OF FLAVOXATE:
Everyone may experience different side effects depending on duration and dose. Here is the list of a few common side effects:

DOSAGE OF FLAVOXATE:

Patients with kidney disease should tell their doctor about it as more doses of this medicine may cause kidney failure or worsen.
Patients with blood pressure problems, thyroid, glaucoma, and intestine problems; should take the doctor’s advice for this medication as it causes an increase in blood pressure, which gives undesirable side effects.
Pregnant women and breastfeeding mothers should avoid this medicine because it passes through breast milk and affects the baby’s growth.
