Mycelex-G 100mg Tablet is an antifungal medicine. It is used only for the treatment of vaginal yeast infections. The active ingredient present in the cream is Clotrimazole which reduces vaginal burning, itching, and discharge occurred by infection. You can buy it over-the-counter for self-treatment if you know the instructions for using it.
HOW TO INSERT IT?
Clean your hands before and after using Mycelex-G 100mg Tablet. Read the user leaflet before inserting as sometimes it is suggested to use an applicator for inserting the tablet into the vagina. Follow the instructions from the user leaflet about using and filing the applicator. Lie down on your back with your knees towards the chest and insert the applicator into the vagina as far as it smoothly goes. Slowly give the pressure on the plunger of the applicator to release the tablet.
SIDE EFFECTS OF MYCELEX-G:
Mycelex-G 100mg Tablet has no severe side effects. If you are using it for the first time, then you may feel pain or cramps in the lower abdomen.
If you are allergic to any active or inactive ingredients then discuss it with your doctor before using it. If you feel rashes on the skin or swelling of the face, tongue, or throat then inform your doctor.
STORAGE:
Store at room temperature.
Do not freeze.
WARNINGS/PRECAUTIONS:
This medication is not for oral, typical use so don’t swallow it otherwise, you may face life-threatening side effects.
Don’t use this medication while having chumps (menstrual cycle).
While having sexual intercourse, avoid the use of latex material like condoms or cups as it reacts with clotrimazole and chances of breaking.
Use unscented pads or napkins to avoid unwanted leakage of medicine.
INTERACTIONS:
Mycelex-G 100mg tablet doesn’t interact with any medication generally but taking it with an herbal product may suppress the effect of this medicine.
Also, avoid the use of antibiotics and corticosteroids. These drugs may also overpower the immune system.
