Probolan 50 tablet is used for treating gout and gouty arthritis. This medicine will not help with a sudden attack of gout. The active ingredient Probenecid lowers the uric acid concentration in the body by helping the kidney get rid of uric acid. High levels of uric acid form crystals in the joints and cause gout. Lowering uric acid is also better for the kidney.
WAY OF ADMINISTRATION:
Administer Probolan 50 tablet by mouth with food or as instructed by the doctor. Usually, it is recommended twice daily. Take a full glass of water with each dose of the medicine to avoid stomach irritation. Do not cut, bite or triturate the tablet and swallow it thoroughly.
