Tapentadol 100mg Tablet is a pain reliever, a prescription medicine used for short-term pain. Short-term pain means pain from injury or surgery. This drug comes from a class of opioid analgesics that blocks the transmission of pain signals to the brain. This medicine is habit-forming.

WAY OF ADMINISTRATION:

Take Tapentadol 100mg Tablet orally with or without food. Do not cut, crack, bite or triturate the tablet. Administer a full glass of water with each dose to avoid stomach upset.

If you feel nausea, it’s better to take it with food or as directed by a physician.

Patients with blood pressure problems should take the doctor’s advice for this medication as it causes an increase in blood pressure which may give undesirable side effects.

Pregnant women and breastfeeding mothers should avoid this medicine because it may affect the baby’s growth.
