Zopiclone 7.5 mg tablet is a sleeping pill. This medicine helps one fall asleep faster. It is a short-term treatment for extreme insomnia cases. This medicine affects the chemical in our brains, GABA.

Insomnia keeps one awake throughout the night or people end up waking up frequently. An example of a drug classified as a central nervous system (CNS) depressant is zopiclone (a medicine that makes you drowsy or less alert). The medication is mostly used to treat insomnia. You can fall asleep more easily and sleep through the night with zopiclone.

When taken every night for an extended time, sleeping pills may start to lose their effectiveness. Most of the time, sleep medications should only be used for a few days, no longer than one or two weeks.

Administer Zopiclone 7.5 mg tablet by mouth once daily before bed. A 3.75mg may also be administered to those with kidney problems and the elderly. The advantage of a lower dose is it prevents the risk of excessive sleepiness. The dosing instructions and the intake instructions are explained to the patient. It is taken after food for a better effect on the individual. The medicine is well-tolerated this way. One should take this medication until the doctor sees fit. It is a long-term medication. The doctor is in charge of the prescription.

The side effects of taking Zopiclone 7.5 mg tablet appear differently in different people. A higher dose of the medication could result in adverse side effects- the effects mentioned below.

  • Confusion

The dosage depends on severity and patients response.

Adults:  Adults are advised to take one zopiclone 7.5mg pill right before night:

Anyone over 65 is considered to be elderly. One zopiclone low-strength (LS) tablet or half a full-strength (7.5 mg) tablet taken just before the night is the chief starting dose for older individuals. If necessary, your doctor might opt to raise your dosage to one 7.5 mg pill.

Individuals with liver or kidney issues-  One low-strength (LS) or half-strength (7.5 mg) tablet of zopiclone should be taken right before night for those with liver and kidney issues.

Children and teenagers. Under-18-year-old children and adolescents should not use zopiclone. There is not enough proof of its effectiveness and safety. The doctor may increase or decrease the dosage.
